When I tell people that I am due to give birth at the end of the Summer, many of them tell me how hot I’m going to get! I will be going through the third trimester at the height of Summer and I am under no illusion that I will most likely turn into a hot, sweaty, swollen mess in the process!
It’s no secret that I love buying clothes, and the obsession hasn’t stopped since I got preggers. In fact, it may even be a little be worse (just a little bit!). I’ve bought a few items of essential maternity clothing (jeans and bodycon dresses). The majority of the clothes I have bought are from the high street’s standard ranges. Just a size or two larger. I didn’t realise how difficult it can be to dress an ever expanding baby bump. Planning an outfit definitely takes more thought in the mornings!
The Jumpsuit
Since the weather has become warmer, I have been practically living in this jumpsuit from ASOS. Not only is it made out of delicious stretchy jersey fabric which goes over my bump with ease, it is the comfiest thing I have probably ever worn! It’s non maternity too! Which is perfect for when I have the baby as it means I can get loads of wear out of it. The tie-string straps mean breastfeeding will be easier to whip a boob out too.
If you follow me on Instagram then you’ll know I am a huge sucker for stripes and also quite recently polka dots and I was so thrilled to find that not only do ASOS make this jumpsuit in a range of different patterns and materials but they have a polka dot one too! In the basket it went and I have been alternating between the stripes and dots ever since. I also have my eye on this one and this one too.
Have you ever bought an item and loved it so much you bought it in multiple colours?
